Infants learn too while having fun at Airport Learning Tree

Our Infant Program welcomes babies as young as 6 weeks.  Our primary goal at this early age is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children are cared for based on their individual needs and schedules to help with transitioning from home to school and back again.  We have two infant classrooms, one for our non-walkers and one for our walkers.  Having two classrooms helps meet the needs of our children by providing the necessary spaces to best stimulate their senses and develop their fine and gross motor skills.

Snuggle Bunnies (6wks-1yr)

Our Snuggle Bunnies are provided with a calm soothing environment with swings, bouncy seats, and mats to encourage curiosity, the precursor to developing life-long learning habits.  Babies are talked to, given “Tummy Time” and provided multiple opportunities to develop their basic senses.  Teachers use music, singing, sensory and other activities to promote all aspects of development.  While in this classroom your child will be presented with multiple opportunities to reach age appropriate milestones.

Wobbly Lambs (12-18mos.)

In the Wobbly Lambs class we provide an inviting environment in which your walking child can safely learn through discovery and exploration of their surroundings.  Teachers use music, singing, sensory and other activities to promote all aspects of development.  Sign language is used to aide in communication at an age where verbal skills are not yet fully developed.  While in this classroom your child will be presented with multiple opportunities to reach age appropriate milestones.
